Refund Policy

Overview — Credit-Based System

VigyanLLM operates on a credit-based usage model. Users purchase top-up credits or subscribe to a plan to obtain a pool of design runs. Each completed primer design, BLAST validation, or multiplex check consumes a set number of credits based on the complexity of the job. Unused credits remain in your account until consumed or refunded under the terms below.

Top-Up Credits

Top-up credit packs are refundable within 7 days of purchase provided that none of the credits in the pack have been used. To qualify, you must not have initiated or completed any design jobs using those credits. Refund requests received after 7 days, or for packs where any credits have been consumed, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. Credits that have been partially consumed are not eligible for a prorated refund.

Subscription Refunds

Monthly subscription plans may be cancelled at any time. Because monthly plans deliver immediate access to the full credit pool, refunds for monthly subscriptions are not provided except in cases of duplicate charges or service error. Annual subscription plans may be eligible for a prorated refund on the unused portion if cancelled within 14 days of the initial purchase. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but remain active until the end of the paid billing period. Refunds for renewal charges on annual plans requested within 7 days of the renewal date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Failed Payments

If Razorpay reports a successful payment but the corresponding credits are not added to your account within 15 minutes, please contact us with your payment ID, order ID, and the email address associated with your account. We will verify the transaction on the Razorpay dashboard and manually credit your account or issue a full refund. Duplicate charge errors will be reversed in full. Refunds for failed reconciliation are processed within 5 business days of verification.

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted via email to contact@vigyanllm.in. Include the email address registered on your VigyanLLM account, the payment ID or order ID from Razorpay, and a brief explanation of the reason for the request. Refund requests submitted through other channels — including social media, phone, or in-person — will not be considered unless confirmed by email from the registered account address.

Exceptions

Completed or partially completed design runs are non-refundable. Once a job has been submitted and processed, the corresponding credits are deducted and the computational resources — including database lookups, BLAST searches, and report generation — have been consumed. We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with in silico predictions, since all outputs are explicitly research-use-only recommendations that require independent validation. Refunds are also not available for accounts terminated for violation of the Terms of Use.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days from the date of approval. The credit will be reversed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account. International payment methods may take longer due to cross-border processing timelines.
